    Start east bank above old Hwy11 bridge

   west of Rocky.

    Finish west bank of Hwy bridge east of Drayton

Description:

1.5 day whitewater paddle where the rapids can be avoided by taking the inside of the corners

Historical:

There were at least 4 trading posts along the river as Boggy Hall a NW Company post established above the Blue Rapids on the west bank about 16km below the Brazeau.

Quaqmire House at Rocky Rapids, 5.6km above Buck Lake House (a HBC post opposite the Buck Lake Creek).
